Established in 2013, North East Sillimanite LLP has emerged as a premier manufacturer of high-quality refractory bricks. Our mission is to provide superior products that meet the stringent demands of the industrial sector in India and overseas. Our special refractory products are made from good stuff like tabular alumina, white fused alumina, magnesia, zircon, sillimanite, fused mullite, zirmul, alumina chrome, magnesia-zirconium, silicon carbide, and fused silica.
The group has its own source of raw materials like kaolin, sillimanite, corundum, mullite, etc.
The plant is equipped with the necessary facilities to achieve high-quality products with stringent specifications such as:
- Mineral Processing Equipment
- Mixing, Pressing, and Vibration Casting Equipment
- Modern mould shop for mould-making
- Six-face grinding and cutting machines
- Product assembly facilities for pre-inspection
- High-temperature kiln with temperature above 1850 degrees C to produce directly bonded bricks with zero vitreous phases for low creep and long furnace life.
A team of highly qualified and experienced skilled workers, engineers, and managers provides the required synergy to produce and maintain the stringent properties to ensure the desired trouble-free life production process for the clients.
History and Achievements:
- 2013: Founded by Mr. Aman Gupta and his co-partners with the direction of our technical expert and a veteran leader, Dr. Akshaya Kumar Mishra. Initially, production capacity was 10,000 MT per annum with a single tunnel kiln with temperatures of 1750 °C.
- 2017: Received ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- 2018: Expanded production capacity by 24,000 MT per annum to establish a second unit in the same campus with the latest technology with a high-temperature kiln (1850 °C) and machinery in the year.
- 2023: Achieved the milestone of serving over 500 clients globally.

With a deep understanding of the industry and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Mr. Aman Gupta has been instrumental in shaping our company’s core values and vision. As a Managing Partner, his leadership is characterized by a deep commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
His extensive expertise in business development, coupled with a keen understanding of market dynamics, has enabled NES to expand its footprint both nationally and internationally.
With a visionary approach and over 50 years of extensive experience in the refractory and ceramic industries, Dr. A.K. Mishra, a seasoned professional, laid the foundation stone of NES with the intention of revolutionizing the sector.
Holding Bachelor degrees in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, M Tech in Ceramic Engineering, and a Doctorate in Technology Management, his leadership and strategic insights have been instrumental in positioning NES as a market leader in India and abroad. Under his guidance, the company has achieved remarkable growth and continues to set new standards in production quality and innovation. His commitment to excellence drives our continuous improvement and technological advancements.
Having forty-five years of experience in manufacturing and operational management coupled with a proven track record of improving production efficiency in his career in the field of refractory plants, which is marked by his exceptional ability to streamline operations and implement cutting-edge technologies in qualitative production with cost-effectiveness, supporting the company’s commitment to excellence.
Our Vice President of Mechanicals boasts 30 years of experience in the erection, installation, commissioning, and upgradation of machines in refractory plants. His expertise ensures machines are kept up-to-date for smooth production, significantly reducing breakdown time. His leadership in maintaining and optimizing equipment has been pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency.
Our Chief General Manager, Marketing and Technical, with four decades of extensive experience, excels in a distinguished career in Research & Development within Glass and Ceramic Plants, currently associated with NES in handling Technical and Marketing responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of production and innovation. His expertise encompasses process optimization and quality control ability, which have significantly expanded NES’s reach both domestically and internationally and ensured that NES stays ahead of the market competition.
